Every contribution reaches a real person: someone waiting for a diagnosis, someone choosing between medicine and rent, someone who has just been told they have lupus and does not know anyone else who has.
What your gift does
I take about eight prescription medications daily; that gets very expensive even with insurance. Some weeks are filled with doctor visits or tests, which become very tiresome and expensive.

This is what your giving looks like on the ground. Not a logo on a banner, a room full of people who found each other.

Ways to give
Every amount helps, and regular gifts help most because they let us plan.
A single gift, whenever you are able.
Regular giving lets us commit to support groups and programmes with confidence.
Help a member facing financial barriers stay in treatment and connected to support.
Fund a walk, a wellness day, a chapter meet-up or a community outreach activity.
How to give
To make a donation, or to set up regular giving, please contact our team directly. We will confirm the current payment options, including mobile money and bank transfer, and send you a receipt.
We deliberately do not publish payment details on this page. Donation pages are a common target for impersonation, and we would rather you confirm the details with us directly than trust a number on a website.
Always verify before you send money. LFA will only ever confirm payment details through the phone number or email address published on this website. If someone contacts you claiming to collect donations for LFA, please check with us first on +254 142 851 978.
Accountability
We publish our impact figures annually and review them with our members; the figures here are from our newsletter for January to June 2026. Annual reports, audited accounts and governance documents are available to donors and partners on request.
If you give to LFA, you are entitled to know what happened to it. Ask us and we will tell you.
